Vernon J. Osiecki, 89, passed away peacefully on July 12 at Baptist East Palliative Care Unit in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on November 15, 1930 and lived in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is predeceased by his mom, Eleanor, dad, John, and brother, Norbert. Survivors include his wife, Patricia, sons Chris (Jill) and Eric (Krista), grandchildren, Brenna, Branden, Carmen, and Lindle, and his sister, Doris Kalinosky. No service to be held per Vernon’s request. Vernon obtained his electrical engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1954 and obtained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He was employed for 8 years by Kaiser Aluminum Company in Ravenswood, WV, where he met his future wife, Patricia Cox. He moved his family to Dayton, OH to work for Elano Corporation. After 3 years, they moved to Cincinnati, OH where he worked for GE Large Jet Engines. He continued to work there for 8 years and then relocated to Madison, WI to work for 2 years at Oscar Meyer. In 1979, he relocated to Louisville and worked for GE Major Appliances. He retired in 1991. Through his career, he worked in Facilities Management which led to his hobby of building renovation and construction.
