Herbert Arch Fetty, Jr, 82, passed away on February 28, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. Herb retired after a long professional career, including more than 30 years of service as a Federal Mediator, and continued work as a consultant in later years. He graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Industrial Management and was a U. S. Navy veteran. Herb was a member of Southeast Christian Church where he enjoyed volunteering during services and participating in Bible study groups. A lifelong athlete, he played varsity football, basketball, and baseball during high school and was an avid golfer. Herb also enjoyed cheering on his favorite college teams, particularly his West Virginia Mountaineers. Herb is survived by his wife, Kathy Viglianco Fetty, daughter Karen Fetty Thompson, and son-in-law James Stith Thompson. Visitation will be held at Pearson’s, 149 Breckenridge Lane, on Friday, March 4th from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held Pearson’s chapel on Saturday, March 5th at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery following the service.
