Jane Martin Dugan

DUGAN, JANE MARTIN, 84 of Boca Raton, FL, wife of the late John L. Dugan Jr., both formerly of Louisville, passed away February 4, 2012.

She was the daughter of the late Mary Louisa Chancellor Martin and Dr. Douglas Dickinson Martin of Tampa, FL. Mrs. Dugan was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Pillsbury, her daughter, Nancy Norton Dugan Poore and her sister-in-law, Marcia Martin Guy.

She was a graduate of Florida State College for Women (Florida State University), Class of 1949 and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a Gasparilla Maid.

Mrs. Dugan is survived by her two daughters, Chancellor Dugan and Elizabeth Dugan Sawyer (Michael); brother, Douglas Dickinson Martin Jr.; nephews, Douglas (wife, Debbie and their son, Marlon) Martin and Allyn Martin; nieces, Janie Slater and Ann Inman; and her cousins, Henry and Dorothy Norton; and the Wilson, Green and Bierbaum families.

Those who wish may make donations to Friend for Life of Louisville, Kentucky, your local Humane Society or Hospice By The Sea of Boca Raton, Florida in Mrs. Dugan's memory.

There will be a Celebration of her Life on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10 a.m. at L. D. Pearson & Son Funeral Home in Louisville, 149 Breckenridge Lane, Kentucky 40207, followed by a Committal Service at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
