Carroll Dudley Sponcil

SPONCIL, CARROLL Dudley, 65, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at Norton Hosparus.

He was founder and president of Carroll D. Sponcil Investment Advisors and a member of Southeast Christian Church. Mr. Sponcil was a former Kentucky Colonel and a former member of Rotary Club East and Hurstbourne Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Sponcil.

Survivors include his wife, the former Teresa Williams; daughter, Jennifer Macklin; son, John A. Sponcil (Andrea); brother, Ollie Sponcil (Rhonda); grandsons, John Taylor Macklin and Ian Speed Sponcil; sister-in-law, Marge Sponcil.

Funeral service will be noon Monday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at Pearson's.

Memorial may go to Hosparus.
