Betty Irene DeFevere Todd

Betty Irene DeFevere Todd, died August 26.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on May 21, 1940. 

She earned a BS degree from Indiana University.  While in Indiana, she served a secretary to the Central Committee of the Republican Party in Jennings County.  She moved to Shreveport in 1985 and worked as a Registered Nurse at both the LSU and VA hospitals. 

She is survived by her husband, Dr. John R. Todd, by daughters, Karen Lynne Cardinal and Stephanie Lynne Todd, by six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and by her sister, Shirley Lyons, and her brother, John Hulon DeFevere. 

A memorial service will be at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 30, 2010.
